Description

Are you a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives on working on multiple projects simultaneously? Do you have a solid understanding of Sales processes and CRM systems?  Are you energized by process optimization?  If so, then this may be the right opportunity for you. The Associate, Sales Operations reports directly to the Senior Director, Head of Sales Operations and contributes to a dynamic team that is driving growth throughout the organization. This position is located in our Boston office.

Job Purpose

As a growing team, we have an opening for an associate to join our Sales Operations team.  This position reports to the Head of Sales Operations and supports the market-facing team by enhancing processes and managing data to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.  This role ensures that sales operations run smoothly, decision-making is supported with data-driven insights and strategies that align with the organization’s sales goals.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • CRM Projects: Support efforts to enhance Salesforce to be fit for purpose through requirements gathering with user groups, requirements documentation, design review with CRM admin, testing, implementation and training
  • CRM Adoption:  Continuously train sales staff on CRM best practices to ensure data quality and consistency
  • CRM Account Data Management: Maintain account data including account hierarchies
  • CRM Reporting: Create and maintain Salesforce reporting for Sales teams.  Work closely with Digital Transformation Team for requirements for Power BI dashboards that contain Salesforce data
  • Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards in Power BI
  • CRM/Marketing Integration:  Partner closely with Marketing to ensure CRM supports hand offs between marketing and sales efforts
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement sales processes that streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to support the business's growth initiatives

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, data analytics, information systems or the like
  • 2-5 years’ experience with sales analysis, data management, or related fields
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Excel are a must. Other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) are a plus
  • Experience in project management a plus
